Two-week Reboot

I finally managed to take a vacation. A real one where I didn't work the entire time (I crocheted at a funeral last February - that's hard core y'all) - and I even managed to disconnect from the Internet machine. I feel like I rebooted my brain.

I cruised from Ft. Lauderdale to the Southern Caribbean and back (stopping in Aruba, Bonnaire, Grenada, Dominica, St. Thomas, & Bahamas). I did a lot of exercise, ate too much, got in the water a few times, petted a monkey and slept. A lot.

Home Again

Now that I'm home again and have all my laundry caught up and the cats have decided that if they don't sit on me 24/7 then I probably won't be leaving again anytime soon, I am back in the studio with a to-do list the size of Cleocatra.

I'm not fat, I'm just big boned!

    Hey Crochetdude

So, glad you enjoyed your vacation! You deserve a break from everything and have some serious R & R! I am looking forward to going to my brothers for Christmas for three days. He lives in Albuquerque, NM. Except for two projects. I am done with my Christmas projects. I am trying to finish up a pullover sweater for my sister-in-law and an argyle scarf for my oldest daughter. (The pattern is called Uncle Argyle Scarf.) It is in the Son of Stitch and Bitch Book. Don't think I will finish it in time. It is not the easiest pattern in the world and besides it is doubleknit as well. Colors she chose was green and brown. Anyway, wishing you a Merry Christmas/Happy chanakuh.(sp) (wanted to cover my bases) Many hugs to you my friend! Arleney (aka crochetwit2000)
