I've been home a week now from the spring of Never Being Home. It's been so nice to get some sleep - in my own bed - every night! The mountain of laundry is finally getting smaller. Actually let me rephrase that - the dirty laundry mountain is getting smaller and the clean laundry mountain is getting bigger! My goal is to get everything hung, folded, and put away by the end of the weekend. Ya gotta have dreams people!!
The week was busy nonetheless, what with the Independence Day celebration on Monday, then my birthday was Wednesday. I had a lot of fun on my birthday to say the least. It included fish tacos, margaritas, and ice cream and that was just lunch. And of course don't forget Mattress Flipping Day, always a favorite at Chez Dude:
