Express Your Inner Designer!
Each year the Crochet Guild of America (CGOA) has a design competition at their annual conference (I hesitate to call it a conference because it really is more of a celebration!) and this year they have asked me to be one of the judges! So. Darned. Cool.
In the past I have helped the coordinator unpack, label, and hang up the entries (I'm tall - but I'm sure they use me for my mind... anywho...) and I love to see what everyone has created from all over the world. This year to be one of the judges is that much more exciting!!
All you have to do to qualify is be a member of the CGOA at any level, that's it!!
Judges are excluded for obvious reasons.
That means me, Marcy Smith from Interweave Crochet and Kathleen Sams from Coats & Clark won't be entering.
It's a sacrifice I am happy to make.
Moving on...for me the design contest is the epicenter of the national conference. And it's a great opportunity for anyone to unleash and express the inner designer inside themselves (not to mention some fantastic CA$H prizes!!)
