The mountains, they call me...
As some of you may have noticed (at least those of you who follow me on Twitter) I just got back from a 10-day trip to New Mexico and Colorado. I tells you what, I love the mountains. Every time I am around mountains I get such a wonderful sense of peace, and it feels like everything will somehow be okay with the world. So that's the perfect spot for a vacation in my book!!
I won't bog y'all down with too many photos but here is a selection of the highlights. In there you will find Santa Fe, Taos, Durango, Silverton and Tamaya (outside of Albuquerque). I was ready to stay. I came home for the cats... *all photos clickable*
And the winner is...
Congratulations to Colee Rylant for winning the random drawing for the Simplicity Rotary Cutting Machine! (And special thanks to my friend Maggie for generating the random number that ended up choosing the winner.) As soon as you email me your mailing info I will get that shipped out to you. You're going to love it!!!
Only a few more days!!
The waiting is driving me crazy (I know I know, short trip....).

Looks like a fun time. I usually travel to Tucson in the fall, each time I know I should hop on over to NM while I am so close. This post is making me want to do that all the more.
Thanks for sharing your vacation pics!
Peace, Judi

Two years ago we chucked it all and moved from FL to the CO mountains. We've never looked back. Durango to Silverton RR passes right through heaven on earth, as far as I'm concerned.

I lived in Telluride for years but had to move so I could go back to school. I still try and get to that area every year to visit and luckily my friends take me in. Have a fun time in the mountains!!

I adore Colorado. I have a lot of family there in the Pueblo/Colorado Springs area.
