99-cent Entertainment
And then there were three! A couple of years ago while sitting at the local Thursday night stitching group I thought "wouldn't it be nice if there was a group, during the day, at Ikea!" So with the temptation of 99-cent breakfast a group of us began to meet each week (the day rotates depending). First Staci left us and move away, then Jeanne decided that she had an actual life and had to stop coming (dang people with real lives!). And at least for the time-being we have three in the group - but now Minilaura is making arrangements to move away (I blame her husband - what with taking a great job in another city - how selfish) and soon it will be just two of us. Luckily we're friends or it could be 99-cent awkward breakfast each week!

What is the incredible fascination cats have with closed doors! Especially, but not limited to, the bathroom door? C'mon, it's not a doorway to the magical land of Narnia or something! Now that would worth writhing around on the floor about!

Our girls do the same thing with the bedroom door. I think it's because they're not allowed in there and the light from the bathroom window moves throughout the day on the floor. It's funny to watch, though.

I'm always jealous when you talk about Ikea! I love them, but I don't have one close enough to be convenient or to pop in for 99 cent breakfast.

One of my cats loves to scratch at the laundry room door. She ignores all other closed doors. I wonder what she hopes to find.
I love IKEA! I was just there this past Monday, and of course I couldn't leave empty-handed.

It's those odoriferous zephyrs that tantalize the kitty nose. OH, were you talking about the 99 cent breakfast at IKEA??

Glad what I'm doing passes for real! School will be over soon, for a bit anyway, and I will join y'all for breakfast again.

I'm with Digifiqi; it's the smell of the bathroom. What have you been doing in there? No, don't answer that.

it's the same thing with dogs. to paraphrase mark twain, whatever side of the door a dog is on is the wrong side to that dog.
