Under the hook

For the next few weeks I'm working on the project that I alluded to here, so please be patient as my blog posts may be hit and miss, here and there, but I promise not to be too too absent.  You can always keep up with me via Twitter or Facebook if you want!

Here is an extreme closeup of something I started last night:

Calvarium Skullcap Class

There is still room in the Calvarium Skullcap class that I'm teaching out at Yarntopia on February 21st.  Click here for more information. If you are around the Houston area I would love to see you in the workshop!  In two hours you will have the skills to finish this great hat from my book The Crochet Dude's Designs for Guys!  Room is limited so sign up soon if you want to come spend the morning with me!

I love that color blend! Whatever that is it's going to be so pretty.

The only thing I hate about living where I do is that I have no opportunity to take classes or even be a regular at a local yarn shop, because there aren't any! The closet ones are over an hour away.

I can't believe you're sitting outside all sunny and comfy. Kentucky is still digging out of the ice and snow. Bring on the spring.

I love the colors in the top picture. I need to get the hat done for the hubby. As I am writing this I am staring at light fluffy snow coming down.

Great picture of you sitting outside and knitting, at least I think you are..lol. The old eyes aren't as good as they used to be...lol.

I still think the mystery project is a hammock.

And you get to crochet outside already? I am so jealous! It's 28 degrees here in MD.

Yes those legs, oops! I mean those colors look great. (sheepish grin) And now that I blurted that out why ain't the Dude wearing shorts? Too cold is it? Oh yeah, it is only Feb. WV has been having crazy weather. This past week we hit the 60's a couple times. Strange...

But, in all seriousness, the picture of your project has an interesting twist/torque to it. Wondering if that is a part of the actual item or just a real pretty pose! Drew, your beanies are fabulous, looks like done sideways and as for your garden? Well, that is a sight for sore eyes. Lush and green. Very lovely.

You all have a good day,

I love that you got twitter on this site for us read. But really, why are people so nosy?? I guess getting a daily dose of the Dude is one of life's little pleasures!

The weather sounds perfectly wonderful out Texas way. WV is flopping around: warm/cold, off/on like a bad acting kid. Though this morning the sun is shining bright. But hey, the robins are back in town and the swifts have moved back into my chimney. The signs of spring. Do love 'em!

    You all enjoy your day,
