Manchester or Bust!

I'm in the final phases of packing for the big CGOA Chainlink conference in Manchester, NH!  Normally there would be help from the cats but I think they are picking up on my nervous energy, and, well, have chosen to deposit their cat hair elsewhere.

The first shot shows the suitcase, the second shows the shirts that I'm going to wear, and the third shot shows the sweaters from Designs for Guys that I would love to bring with me but, in case y'all haven't noticed, it's eleventeen hundred degrees outside, what with it being July and all.  I do have a couple of the lighter sweaters packed and if the convention center keeps it cool enough then I'll be able to sport them.  In case you are are wondering, there are pants packed as well.

Drew.. you might want to bring a canoe, cuz we've been getting rain like it's nobodies buisness. Or, maybe just an umbrella. On second thought, mildew cleaner might work too..cuz I swear I'm starting to grow some. Wish I didn't have such a crazy weekend going on, I'd be there in a heartbeat. Good luck and safe travels

Oh gosh, I saw on the news last night that Texas got slammed by hurricane Dolly! I know you are north of that but the thought of it is kinda scary! I sure hope you're beautiful home is completely missed!

The pictures you post (the rain shot was amazing!) of your garden and property are always a delight.

I browsed your archives yesterday (don't get online alot) and laughed right out loud when I saw "kittie widgey." Cats are great.

Again, I hope you come unscathed from "Miss Dolly". A woman scorned is no one to fool with, oh no!

Looking foward to your "report" upon your return home!

    Have a good day,

    Pam
