A Year

Saturday was the annual Houston Artcar Parade - and what a parade it was this year! The weather was fantastic, the crowds were having fun and the cars were amazing! Here are a few snapshots that I took:

Monday

Yesterday was spent as most day-after-Mother's-Days are spent - clearing my mind, focusing on the present and getting back to work. I'm still not caught up from being down for the count for a few weeks in April but I am making progress! Yesterday afternoon I spent three hours attempting to size a sweater design that must. be. finished. And when I stopped for dinner I realized that I hadn't really made much progress at all. Hey I know, I'll blame it on Monday!! Yay!

Tuesday

I just answered the door to find these two big boxes on my doorstep!

That my friends is what you too could have if you get Designs for Guys and make every project that is in the book.  And if you do happen to make every project in the book please please share photos.  That would be so cool!

And now I'm going to fire up the Senseo (I got some new flavored pods - hooray!) and get back to sizing that sweater that I mentioned earlier, because, you know, it must. be. finished.

Did you crochet a car cozy for a VW bug one year for the Houston Art Car show? I seem to remember it was in Red Heart "Mexicana"
