Little Pattern on the Prairie...afghan
Thanks to everyone that contacted the Creative Home Arts Club Magazine about the Prairie Style Afghan (see below) they have now put the pattern up on their website! So if you aren't a subscriber (magazine is for club members only apparently) you can still go to their website and get the pattern!

As much as I'd like to say that I luxuriate in my boxers all day waiting for my closeup on national television, the reality is that I have eight projects that are due, well, within the next few days. In my frenzied state I actually forgot to photograph two of them before shipping yesterday so don't have extreme closeups to tease you with, so you'll just have to trust me that they are awesome (just ask me, I'll tell you) but I do have this extreme closeup:

It's for a project that is nearly completed but not quite.
Don't even ask about the knit project that I am in the middle of for the show (same steps as above, but a little less complicated of a project)
Here I am teaching Cleo to knit so that she can help me:

And here is how the first class went:

Speaking of The Show
I just found out last night that I have the opportunity to design a man's sweater to be showcased on one of my segments of the show that starts filming in just a FEW DAYS (eeeeeee!) and so I just ordered the yarn this morning, which hopefully will be overnighted to arrive tomorrow, then I get to design the sweater, create the "hero" which is the finished one that will be on the mannequin (I don't think there are models for this segment) and then I get to make the sweater again in pieces to show how to assemble it, then I get to make the different pieces again which are called "step outs" so that I can demonstrate how to do the stitching of each piece.Don't even ask about the knit project that I am in the middle of for the show (same steps as above, but a little less complicated of a project)
Here I am teaching Cleo to knit so that she can help me:

Thanks for the link to that beautiful ghan!! I printed it out - but will need to go to my print shop to make the font big enough to read w/out a magnifying glass...lol!
I loved that pattern from the moment I saw it.

Oh dear. The class is not being cooperative, is it?! Just because they are beautiful, they think they can get away with anything...

If you figure out how to teach your cats, let me know. I need to teach my two and the greyhound to crochet so I can make sure I meet all my deadlines.

Cats do not like stress. She went to take a nap didn't she? You go Dude, if anyone can do it you can. You do have a large supply of your favorite coffee, right? Thanks for getting the pattern on the website. I can't find that magazine anywhere!

I had to order the magazine when you made the announcement so they required me to join their club for $12. Then they said I would get a magazine in the mail in 2-3 weeks so I waited and waited and finally emailed to tell them that I didn't get it. They sent another one out with the cover plastered with stickers and the very next day, I got the first one that they were supposed to send.
Thankfully, playing with yarn is most relaxing. My yarn for this should be here in a day or two

I love the blurry cat photo--that's how mine both look most of the time.
