Midnight in Prague
I was at the theater last winter and nearly every woman there was wearing a shrug of some sort. The younger the woman the smaller the shrug, I noticed. I don't know if that's significant or not but it was noticeable at least to me. One thing that I have wanted to see in a shrug is a more tailored look. So when I submitted a shrug design proposal I made sure that it had a very tailored look with a flattering shape. I wanted to design a shrug that looked comfortable (not like someone put their sweater in the dryer for an hour on high...). And this is what I came up with, a shrug I call "Midnight In Prague":

The pattern is available in the next issue of Crochet! magazine (November 2007) available on newstands on September 25th according to their website, although subscribers most likely have already received it!!

Wow!
I've seen lots of shrugs, but none I would like to wear until now.
Most shrugs barely have a front, and the front of this is what makes it so classy.
Did you actually crochet the pin? Is that in the pattern, too?
Wow!

What an interesting shape! Seeing as I won't get my hands on the magazine, could you post a close-up of the stitch pattern, please?
Thanks!

BEAUTIFUL!! This is the first shrug I have been tempted to make. The wide V-neck is very classy and will flatter almost any figure. I love the circle closure. Can't wait to get the magazine!!
