Midnight in Prague

I was at the theater last winter and nearly every woman there was wearing a shrug of some sort.  The younger the woman the smaller the shrug, I noticed.  I don't know if that's significant or not but it was noticeable at least to me.  One thing that I have wanted to see in a shrug is a more tailored look.  So when I submitted a shrug design proposal I made sure that it had a very tailored look with a flattering shape.  I wanted to design a shrug that looked comfortable (not like someone put their sweater in the dryer for an hour on high...).  And this is what I came up with, a shrug I call "Midnight In Prague":







The pattern is available in the next issue of Crochet! magazine (November 2007) available on newstands on September 25th according to their website, although subscribers most likely have already received it!!
