Hooray for PBS!
I just got back from a long day of fun that included waking up early (I'm still on Houston time y'all...5:30am is EARLY), a shuttle ride to the studio, a quick tour, meeting people in the green room, some one on one time with a makeup artist that I like to call "the miracle worker", some waiting (and knitting and general merriment), filming a segment of Shay Pendray's wonderful show, more merriment waiting for lunch, lunch (see photo below), a walk to the yarn shop right around the corner, more merriment, a shuttle back to the "hotel" (which happens to be four victorian homes that have been turned into a hotel, very much like a b&b), a shuttle ride to a restaurant, general merriment, a shuttle ride back to the hotel, a couple of hours of general merriment in the hotel lobby in front of the fireplace (while it hailed outside....it's summer in Houston...I'm ready to go back south), and now I'm packing and getting ready for bed. I should get more sleep tonight because i requested a fan since they don't turn the a/c on until June....last night was a near-death sweating experience....I'm just saying.

I'll wave as you fly over my head! It sounds like you had a nice time, Drew. But yeah, it's always so good to get home.
Who watches the cats while you are away?

Hi,
You are ever so busy!
Are you going to have time to go to Manchester? If you do, I'll see you there.

No A/C until JUNE??? That's incredible, just incredible.
Glad you're having a good time - despite the heat!

I'm not sure what the weather in Houston's been like this week, but San Antonio-Austin has had lots of thunderstorms, lightning, tornado warnings, etc. Oh, and probably some hail, too!

Oh now you were in Michigan... we had snow on the ground 3 weeks ago and they keep threatening us with more of it any day now. Turning the A/C on is a jinx that will guarantee that actually happening unfortunately
