Drewbilation!
In January Tilli Tomas asked me to design and name a colourway for their new line of Silk Plie yarn. This stuff is amazing
100% silk plied for "incredible durability, luster & sheen". The first hank arrived on my front porch last night and there was indeed Drewbilation at my house!
I am in the process of designing a garment that uses Drewbilation and it is so. darned. incredible. to work with. I heart Tilli Tomas and all their yarns!! Run, don't walk to your nearest LYS and see if they have Drewbilation in stock, and if not, have them order you some (did you notice how it matches my blog? clever eh? not just a hat-rack my friend...) Hint: it matches perfectly to the Moroccan Blue they have on their website. And when you get something made with Drewbilation (a Drewbilation Creation?) please send me a photo so that I can share it here on my blog!!

Beautiful yarn. I guess it's something I'm going to have to save up a little money for in the near future.

I love the yarn! I just came from the LYS wish I had known to look. I was just in for a quick moment to pick some yarn I needed to finish a project. Guess that just means I will have to go back sooner rather than later.

What is a LYS ??

LYS = Local Yarn Shop (pretty much any yarn shop that isn't part of a chain, like Michael's or Hobby Lobby which are considered mass market stores).

Wooo Hooot! Beautiful yarn! I cannot wait to touch it, Ms. Vivi of the four-year-old set will have to smell it. That will be lovely to work with. A yarn named for you, that is serious!

Love the name Drewbilation. Don't you just love how your name works so nicely with so many creative names for designs, yarns, etc. (e.g. Drewstring)?

Drew I work @ a LYS and will order your yarn. As a fellow designer I know what good word of mouth does(lol). I push your book when people come into the store. There is room for lots of creativity out here. You should be very proud of you self!!!

So, you are the great one this gorgeous color is named after! I am a hopeless Tilli Tomas addict, and this is without a doubt the most beautiful color in their entire line! I can't wait to get my hands on it and make something!
