What a difference...

...a day makes!  I took these photos a few minutes ago.  As you can see, Chandler & Cleo are happy that the sun came out!

How Odd

It's an odd feeling I'm experiencing right now.  Perhaps it's spring?  Or is it because I've been eating like a caveman?  Most likely a combination of both.  And I honestly haven't felt this way in months and months, in fact, not since well before last Thanksgiving.  You see, I'm caught up.  That's right ladies and gentlemen, I am actually on schedule for the first time in recent memory.  I have lots of work that is due at the end of the month, but this time I'm getting the projects finished well in advance.  What a concept!

Which leads me to my next big project.  The Studio *cue scary music*.  I haven't posted photos of The Studio in a long time because I had well intended to clean it out and get it organized (partially to be more efficient but mainly so that Dave doesn't go all Oprah on me again) since last fall.  Rest assured that I will take even newer "before" photos despite the scariness and also the messiness and the scorn of the community.  But I'm willing to take my chances so that I can be a cautionary tale of you must indeed be careful what you wish for.  Okay, who am I kidding, I just want to go shopping at Ikea this weekend!!!

What's a poor stashaholic to do when her friend keeps posting pictures of a lush and verdant Houston. Especially when said stashaholic is stuck in 15 (count them 15) days in a row of -30C weather.

Yay for kitties in sunbeam slivers!

I think I remember you asking me to comment again as you'd lost my blog & e-mail, so here 'tis! Also, Amy is loving her sub-contracting project.

Oh, if I had a sunbeam I would lay in it naked. Just so long as no one other than the cats could see me. This Michigander is suffering from yet another bout of February Blues and longs to lounge in the sun. *sigh* Living vicariously.

Me too!  I have a bay window and there is nothing better than reading a book sitting in the bay window with Cleo and Chandler laying in the sunbeam next to me.  So. Darned. Peaceful.

I almost saved all those ends to stuff a sofa.  Seriously.

I think I need to sprawl out in the sun more often.  It seems to make the cats happy!

Oh hush you - we're in the middle a blizzard. I do not want to see rain or sunshine or anything resembling a warm temperature because it makes my -30C temperature even worse!

Congrats on being up to date. I know how much of a challenge that can be.

I remember last year at this time (when I was up there with all y'all) that you didn't have any snow at all and in fact it was 50 degrees (F) or so.  What happened this year?  Houston is a great place to visit during the winter!

Oh, please, who are you kidding? You made a mess and don't want to own up to it. I'm on to you. And, if you remember, I was HIGHLY praising your room transformation.

Dude, the studio totally took over another entire room adjacent to the one I showed on my blog last year.  Shocking.  I've lost a cat for an entire day in there because I just couldn't see her.  I've made progress this week though and I have some big plans for the room.  Stay tuned.

Don't worry about your room, it can't be that bad. Life is more interesting with a little clutter.

Unfortunately it gets too warm for them during the summer.  I do have a completely shady area in the yard and hopefully I can keep them alive this time.  We'll see.

I find that amazing!  ABQ is a hub for that area of the country and should have an Ikea!  Perhaps in the near future?

Drew, I borrowed the picture of the three Bleeding Hearts and put it on my desktop. I love flowers and spring. I have to wait for spring, it is February in Utah a little snow a little rain and skiing in the mountains.
